The following is a press release from the International College of the Cayman Islands:
On Friday December 3rd, a seven-member team of Master of Business Administrations students from the International College of the Cayman Islands, received recognition that they had placed as one of the top 10 teams from around the world in an International Business Case Competition. The competition was sponsored by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).
The competition involved the ICCI MBA team developing a unique “go to market” strategy for Italian based company Genuino. This emerging European company specializes in digital collectibles backed by Non-fungible Tokens otherwise known as NFT Technology. Genuino is looking to enter and launch its products in the United States marketplace.
The MBA team led by Dr. Mark Giddarie, Professor of Management at ICCI, placed 7th out of 29 other university teams from around the globe.

Dr. Aleza Beverly, Dean and Chief Academic Officer, shared the following, “It is always wonderful for our students to be recognized internationally. The ICCI MBA Team worked hard and put together an impressive proposal. I’m proud of them and their instructor, Dr. Mark Gidarrie, for taking on this challenge and representing ICCI so well.”
