The Ministry of Education (MOE) is now accepting Cayman Islands Government (CIG) Education Council Local Scholarship applications for the 2022/2023 academic year.
Scholarships are open to Caymanian students who have been accepted to pursue tertiary studies at a local institution.
These include the Truman Bodden Law School (TBLS), University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI), International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI) and UWI Open Campus.

Students interested in post-secondary studies are also eligible to apply for a local scholarship to pursue Advanced Levels (A-Levels), International Baccalaureate (IB), Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) and Advanced Placement (AP) courses at private educational institutions.
Manager of the Scholarship Secretariat Unit, Dr. Shari Smith, urged all interested persons, including Dual Entry students and all those pursuing post-secondary qualifications, to apply online using the updated scholarship application portal.
Dr. Smith added, “Doing so will provide students with a more seamless application experience. Students can use the portal to verify their eligibility for each scholarship, monitor the status of their application and manage all interactions throughout the life of the scholarship.”
