The Cayman Islands Cabinet has approved the appointments of Ian O’Connor and Brenda Watson to the Education Council.
The Education Council advises the Minister for Education on matters relating to education. It is also responsible for registering educational institutions, teachers in schools, early childhood education and care centres, and regulating the teaching profession in accordance with the standards set by the Ministry of Education.
The appointments appear in the Post Meeting Summary from the 31 May meeting of Cabinet.
