The Department of Education Services closed the curtains on the 2022 National Children’s Festival of the Arts programme with the 17th annual staging of the Amin Mohammed Steelband Competition.

Fifteen-year-old St. Ignatius Catholic School student Gabrielle Best was selected as the Butterfield Young Musician of the Year after an intense musical battle between the nine top instrumentalists in the 2021 National Children’s Festival of The Arts preliminary competition.
Last week, National Children’s Festival of the Arts (NCFA) gold awardees from 13 schools entertained captive audiences during three final concerts to showcase their winning song, dance, speech and instrumental performances.
