LFT ‘surveillance’ period for students reduced to 7 days

When a teacher or student tests positive for COVID-19, their classmates must now take rapid-response tests for 7 days instead of 10.

When a teacher or student tests positive for COVID-19, their classmates must now take rapid-response tests for 7 days instead of 10.
Even if a household member tests positive for COVID-19, students under the age of 18 may continue to go to school as long as they test negative on daily LFTs, for a period of 10 days.
The total number of students testing positive in the COVID outbreak in George Town Primary School is 18, plus three adults.
All new government school students must have health screenings before the school year starts.
